Summer Holidays Picnic

“Thank God for the Shared Garden Project and the allotments”. We all said that after spending a few hours with our children and families at the “Welcome Summer Holidays Picnic”.

There were about 30 of us. Most of the children are attending or used to attend the Nursery in Trent Bridge Primary School in the Meadows, Nottingham. It was not our first meeting at the allotments. Most of the children and parents have been here before.

What did we do? We ate, played games, chatted, visited the hens and goats.
We had a wander round the allotments to find out about how the project works and what vegetables and fruit are grown here.

We all had a lovely time, and if we can, we will be back.
